Hey guys! I wanted to say hello and introduce myself. This is my first formal post; I've made a few posts, but nothing of worth.
I have been lurking Mud for about 2 years now. I found this site while on my search for my first Cruiser and I finally picked one up back in Oct. from a fellow Mud member down in S. Denver. The truck is a 2000 with currently ~165k on the clock and I have fallen in love. By far the best and most capable vehicle I've ever owned; very easy to work on too!
So far I have added pfran's interior LED kit and reverse lights. The running boards were removed by the PO. I've modded the power outlets to always be on (link) and did the highbeam/foglight mod (link) from RedRob's tlcfaq page (which is incredible btw, what a great site!). I replaced my headlights and fogs with HIRs, which was desperately needed after driving through a snow storm a few weeks ago and realizing I was quickly out driving my headlights (if you watched the Broncs whipe the Pats in OT, you know the snow storm I'm talking about
). And after doing my 165k service and rotating my tires, I snapped a wheel stud and made my first call to CDan a week ago! What a great guy, very knowledgeable and polite. I actually just talked to him today while ordering new pads and shims.
Without dragging this on, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for making this such an incredible knowledge base, it has surely helped me out countless times (and seeing how my CV clips just came in yesterday from pfran, I'm sure you guys will help me out in the future as well!)
Will
