Well, not exactly...

In addition to our normal single and family ANNUAL membership fees, the BOD has elected to also offer Life and 10-Year memberships. The new program offers the members a 25% discount on single and family memberships.

Go ahead, write one check for $150 and you are a member for LIFE! $300 if you want a "family" membership. A special bonus is that a "Lifer" or "Half-Lifer" will be protected from any increase in dues during their membership or tenure of a life-time membership. Lifers also get a special vehicle sticker AND a special mug.

Here is the breakdown of the fees:

LifeTime Single: $150
LifeTime Family: $300
10 Year Single: $75
10 Year Family: $150

The Family plans allow any member of your household to participate in all events and treatment as any member in good standing. This means they also partake in raffles, giveaways, meals, etc.

These new plans are in place now and are open to all new members who have joined within the last 4 months should they want to upgrade their current memberships.

Questions? Email me or Marshall Shepherd.

:) Great idea Alex.

I will talk it over with the wife. I do have a few questions.

- Is there a limit to what my family can do now?
- And with the lifetime family, does this include the lifetimes of my kids or just the wife and I?
- Lastly can the single be upgraded to family at a later date?

Hello, Matt:

A: Your family can come to ALL events now, but participation in those events that cost the club money is excluded. With a single membership, you will have to pay for extra tickets during raffles, Club paid meals or any events for your family. For example: during a FREE giveaway, your family would not be included to receive a gift, or, you will receive only ONE raffle ticket during the annual event for the prizes (family gets 2). The idea is that the dues come back to all the members who donated their fees in the way of giveaways, raffles, meals, or any other event the BOD decides the Club can afford.

A: "Family" means all spouses and children residing in your dwelling.

A: Yes, specially for you since you just joined (you have 4 months to decide). However, even someone who has paid for a single "year" membership may elect to go longer by just paying the difference.

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions and I'll be happy to help!

Great! I will be doing a Half Life myself (It's all I can afford right now:) )

I am new to the Cruiser world but have bought 2 so I guess that means something. I would love to get in touch with some of you for questions about rebuilding the 2 rigs I have. I would also like to know more about the upstate chapter. Thanks for any info.

Hello:

Welcome to the Cruiser family! Since you have found our chat site you can use this to post your messages regarding your rig. Also, please visit our web site at www.upstatecruisers.net for info about our club. We meet a couple of times a month (at least) and you are welcome to visit with us to see what we are about.

What year and model Cruiser did you buy? What type of work are you looking to do on them?

Best regards,

Alex
