Hi, I am working on building a 1972 FJ with a chevy 350/700r4/ 3 inch suspention lift and a 2 inch body lift. I'm am having problems figuring out what all has been done to it. In my attempts to repair things on it, I have run into problems. I was wondering if someone could tell me what year axle i have in the front end of my fj? I am going to try to post some pics of it to try to help. I think that it may be a mini truck but not sure. The studs are a little over 2 inches apart on the knuckles, and it has disk brakes. I have looked at the FAQ section that's how i came up to this conclusion but still not sure. Any help greatly appreciated. :bang:

I thought I would show a few pics of my FJ. The first 2 are before the 2 inch body lift was added and the last one was after. I could not find my pictures from when I first bought it but I will keep lokeng and post them later.

Found out my front end is a mini truck front axel. Thanks for all the help on the FAQ search section. :)

Take one of the nuts holding the arm on, OFF. Go to hardware store and find the metric bolt that fits it. The diameter will give you a good idea of what pattern you have. I will look around see which size fits small/large pattern.... but someone may have a memory jog and chime in before I find that post.

Never mind, you figured it out.
