Hey everyone! I'm currently stationed in Okinawa, Japan and recently acquired a 1991 HZJ77. I plan on shipping it back to the US when my tour here ends. I'm looking forward to working on it and getting all kinds of useful info from you all! I will post pics once I get a chance to.

Nice. I did 4 years total (two seperate 2 year stints) at Kadena.
Good times... well the first assignment was, the second not so much. :D

Keeping with the Kadena (in my case Kadena Aero Club - 1963) and 77 Series owners theme. :)

Pics from the original sales ad. I've added the clinometer to the center dash (found one on ebay), and the stereo got downgraded because that one didn't work.

What is it with the japanese and those crappy wooden steering wheels? Sorry 91.
There must be a huge depository somewhere full of landcruiser steering wheels.

I wish we could have had a choice of automatic in australia.

Lol...no worries. I actually dont mind it. Its round, makes my wheels go left and right. Although I may eventually upgrade it to something different.

I think some 4runner s/wheels can be grafted on there with a little work.

I am loving the floor mats

Kind of like Australia and those HUGE bull bars. I suppose those are actually useful though.

Cheers
