Hey all,
I picked up this 'beast' last over the weekend. Somewhat of a 'barn find'. She's a 1989 FJ62 with 140k, OME Lift (Not sure of the weight), new shocks all around. Tossed a new battery in it and fired right up. She's got some rust, had a muffler fire that burned up the rear seat, brakes are toast, and so are the birfields. All that, it's a solid truck ready for some TLC. It's a blast to drive! I've had a Tundra for years so I've scrummaged around on this site before. Looking forward to learning more from everyone here!

Cool truck! Brakes, muffler and Birfields are the first repairs I did to my truck when I bought it too. I had a hell of a learning curve but even I managed to get it all together.
Enjoy!

Think I found the main brake issue, front passenger side hard hard line is split and the MC cap is likely shorted out.

Welcome and great looking truck!
If that’s your house it’s parked in front of you may want to tend to it first. 😜
