I need to replace my MAF sensor. been doing a little searching and not getting much. Are these vehicles picky on MAF sensors? Do I need OEM or is there an aftermarket thats cheaper but actually works?

Yesterday morning I started the LX470 and it shut down right away. Restarted and same thing. Then it started and off I went. CEL and VSC TRAC and VSC OFF lights were illuminated. This morning she started right up. Pulled the following codes. P0100, 0101, 0135, 0141, 0155, 0156, and 0161. I reset codes and all lights went off for now. I'm leaning towards the MAF. I had MAF codes a couple of months ago and cleaned it. Been gone for a while but now? What do you think?

Vacuum leaks sometimes show up as a MAF problem.

I have an aftermarket MAF on the shelf that I never used (was a bad vacuum leak in my case). Don't know how well it works since I never bothered after finding the leak. But it was a bunch cheaper than OEM (picked it up at an Advance Auto Parts store - I had a $20 off coupon so I think I paid about $40).

My vote would be to try cleaner and check every vacuum line - hopefully turns out to be a cheap fix.

So today it stalled after the first 2 starts. Third time she started. Getting P0100. When I reset the code it shuts the LX down. Tried a few times. Drove to the store and under heavy excelleration it bucks. So has anyone used an aftermarket MAF or know the cheapest place to get an OEM?
