I built this roof rack from 1" aluminum tubing for the Grand in 2005. It was a direct bolt in which took quite a bit of time to fabricate for the contours of the roof. The welds are ugly and bed liner peeling, so it needs some attention. Now that the WJ is converted back to stock I will be cutting off the brackets and finding some roof gutter mounts (Gamiviti?) for the LX.

Buy a Land Cruiser and what do you get? Another year older and deeper in debt. I appreciate all the input and support over the past year. I knew this was a good vehicle, but didn’t anticipate the great group that is UC.

After replacing the cracked radiator I got some 33’s on. Would love to lift and lock it, but probably going to focus more on using it this coming year. Looking forward to it!
