Couple pics of the new lift I picked up along with an 81 disc front end swap. Shackle angle on the front is not great, rear is fine. Rear is about an inch lower than the front, I figure after the hard top comes off I'll be evened out.

A few more. The springs are 2.5 Ranchos with 5000 shocks. I got them from a friend who had them on for a few months so they are broke in a good bit. Surprisingly they don't ride as rough as I expected. I was going to buy different springs, but hey, FREE is FREE!!!!!

All that is left now is putting the 3rd member out of my old front end in and putting the locker in the front. Picking up the locker for the front and a set of new 5000 shocks for the rear this afternoon. Gotta get an extended brake line for the rear....cutting it really close right now.

The disc front works great and I must tell you cats, I am SOOOO proud of my :princess:!!! She did the rear springs with me, and as prissy as she usually is, that is a big deal!

Starting to acquire parts for the PS and I have to move up to 33's from my 32's. Few more things here and there and I will be ready for the Rubithon next year..CAN'T WAIT!!!

Chris:cheers:

Yes it is. My body was bad rusted when I bought it, so I'm not afraid to drill into her or set her against a rock or 2. Me being 6'3, it works out good. Picked up a set of freestyle bicycle pegs from wally world and bolted a small 1/4 inch plate on the inside for support. Smokin' high way pegs!
