Shane, and anyone else who has these guys..

How have they held up with moisture over time? I'm pretty sure that my factory leather is shot from moisture exposure ( reminds me of leather in an old buick my grandmother had when I was very young in which i ruined the seats from riding in it all the time after swimming)....

However, i do that moisture never seemed to bother leather in most newer cars ive been around...

How do these guys hold up? I'm seriously contemplating an order soon!

Moisture kills leather, period!

I have had mine in my 100 for 2 years with a lab that had full run.

My buddy was over this morning and his looks perfect, though he is OCD but has kids and they are in it daily.I removed his LX interior at 40k for patterning. and he has 5 years of ass time in it.

You will need to clean and condition every six months to get it to last, just like you have to do with today's cars.

You will not find one failure as of yet due to quality of leather or craftsmanship. aside for a few mistake made during assembly that were missed and found by customer and taken care of immediately. (or a lab hair or two that makes it in the box)

Shane, sent $500 to get the ball moving, included my phone # as well. If I didn't get something rolling something else would have come along and taken this $ out of my hand so I decided to take pre-emptive wallet emptying action!

BTW checked my PM's and the last one from you was on the 18th

nevermind found your email from last night to my other account, replied.

Thanks!

In the works, thanks and good talk.

I see things are heating up and leather is flyen out the doors again Shane....

So many projects at one time and none can sit idle.....I will be cutting till 4am tonight......I really, really want this cool tool that cuts stacks of vinyl at once.....but at the $$ they want, no way.

Geez. Where's your sense of adventure. What is the name of this tool?
I'm sure someone around here can source one cheaper....

I looked years ago and it was in the thousands. It's a comercial material cutter, not like a scissors one, almost like the 12" foam cutter, my lady had that and it is cool. You can cut any design in foam like a hot knife though butter.

My GF daughter will cut for me as I trade for her tanning packages and Mani-Pedi's Though I bitch more than she does.

Thanks for the call and good talking with you, halfway there!

Meant to ask you on the phone, where did you source your cats from? I will probably send another couple hundred on payday, 15th, and then do the same on the 28th. That should leave a small balance if memory serves me correctly, however often it doesn't serve me at all!

New items to be included at no charge with the purchase of leather.

First is the push nut that retains the front seat nets to the seat back. The factory no longer offers it. So I will include all that you will need if you want to install them, or not I didn't in mine as I was worried if I made a panic stop causing my dogs leg to end up in the netting.

Second is the elastic cord that wear out on the netting. I will include 2 pieces of either gray or tan with your order. (black shown)

Thanks for your support.

Also you will receive 4 push pins, 2 re'q per seat. They are black, as I couldn't find tan or gray.

Thanks for the clarification..lol Are new nets available?

I know that 100 series are under $10 and 80 series are in the $40's or something stupid like that.

Got my first shipment last week and I got to say I haven't seen quality like this for the price in a long time, about 20 years to be exact. The leather is incredible and I'm almost contemplating taking a day off friday to get it all done this weekend.

I was a bit nervous spending $1K, in fact it is probably the largest internet transaction I've every placed but working with Shane was a pleasure and having him call to go over what I needed and could afford quickly set my mind at ease.

I can't say enough good things about the entire transaction(s), the phone call with great tips, the email communication, to the product packing, I haven't had this top notch level of customer service on anything I've bought in recent memory. We are truly lucky to have someone like him dedicated to the LC and the mud forum.

Thank-you!

Ordered all of my stuff last week and waiting ever so patiently for it to arrive at Shanes.

Let me know when you are ready for the truck Shane, can't wait to get this done.

Also, do you happen to keep spare cushions on hand just in case my passenger side needs to be replaced as well?

I have been fighting another wonderful kidney infection the past few weeks and last month.

Curt will be dropping off his truck this weekend and I hope to add some more 80 series bling to it.

Shane

Have had the leather in for a couple of days now and have to say I LOVE it. So nice that I don't have to be ashamed of how my interior looks and the heaters are freakin awesome!!!!
