Shane, and anyone else who has these guys..
How have they held up with moisture over time? I'm pretty sure that my factory leather is shot from moisture exposure ( reminds me of leather in an old buick my grandmother had when I was very young in which i ruined the seats from riding in it all the time after swimming)....
However, i do that moisture never seemed to bother leather in most newer cars ive been around...
How do these guys hold up? I'm seriously contemplating an order soon!
Moisture kills leather, period!
I have had mine in my 100 for 2 years with a lab that had full run.
My buddy was over this morning and his looks perfect, though he is OCD but has kids and they are in it daily.I removed his LX interior at 40k for patterning. and he has 5 years of ass time in it.
You will need to clean and condition every six months to get it to last, just like you have to do with today's cars.
You will not find one failure as of yet due to quality of leather or craftsmanship. aside for a few mistake made during assembly that were missed and found by customer and taken care of immediately. (or a lab hair or two that makes it in the box)
Shane, sent $500 to get the ball moving, included my phone # as well. If I didn't get something rolling something else would have come along and taken this $ out of my hand so I decided to take pre-emptive wallet emptying action!
BTW checked my PM's and the last one from you was on the 18th
nevermind found your email from last night to my other account, replied.
Thanks!
In the works, thanks and good talk.
I see things are heating up and leather is flyen out the doors again Shane....
So many projects at one time and none can sit idle.....I will be cutting till 4am tonight......I really, really want this cool tool that cuts stacks of vinyl at once.....but at the $$ they want, no way.
