Just had some new wheels and tires installed on the beast. I know not everyone is into 20s but these are awesome:

Nitto Terra Grappler 275/60R20 (33") on KMC XD 801 wheels in 20x9 with 0mm offset.

Tires rub slightly on the inner fender liner at full lock. I will see what can do there.

Other than that they run without any vibration or noise.

cool Those ARE big

Can you post up some more pics? I'd like to see how far the wheels and tires protrude in your particular application, i.e. 20x9, 0 offset, 275 tires. And yes, I'll keep in mind that you have the additional fender flares! Thanks in advance.

Okay, I just trimmed off about 2-3" of the inner bottom corner of the plastic fender liner and the slight rubbing is now taken care of. I'll post some more pics after the rain stops.

cool more aftermarket wheels!

looks great

Do they spin?

Haters gonna hate. :flipoff2:

I will say that unless you are a hardcore off-roader, this setup will work for just about anyone. I already did a small ramp test and the tires tucked into the wheelwells without touching anything. :p

Also, there is plenty of meat on the tires to do mild trails that don't require airing down too much.

The black, dished rims with the black tires make the rims look bigger than they really are.

They balanced great, ride very nicely and don't kill my gas mileage with a 33" tire. They only weigh 42 lbs per tire compared to 57 pounds for a TG in 275/70R18.

Anyway, I am very happy with the outcome and I can still ride easy trails comfortably. If I ever want to get hardcore I can mount some 295/70R18 on my stock rims and go to town.

They do fill out the wells nicely! Looks good for aftermarket wheels!

Not sure I get it... lots of mods for the trail, e.g. lift, sliders, etc... then 20s. But I might be too old school - I thought my 18s were too big ;-)

I know...we lived in East Tennessee for four years. That's when I installed the lift, sliders, etc. Good times at Coal Creek.

Then a new job took me back to South Florida so off-roading will be a vacation hobby.

I don't want to remove my lift and sliders. The new tires / wheels are great on the road and I can easily ride some easy trails when we go on vacation.

That make sense! Also explains the Turner ;-)

And South Florida is spinner nirvana :flipoff2:

I think they may have fallen out of fashion down here. I got my wheels from Specialty Automotive Treatments down here (awesome customer service, BTW) and among the hundreds of wheels on display was not a single set of spinners. :flipoff2:

The Turner I definitely need down here. We have AWESOME trails and building more all the time.

Check out Markham Park (12 miles of singletrack) and Oleta River State Park (15 miles of singletrack). Some of the most technical trails in the south.

If anyone wants to come down and ride, let me know. Make sure your legs are good. :grinpimp:

Good looking wheels and tires!
I just can't afford the cost of 20" tires! :frown:
Just for grins, how much did they come out to per tire? With out mount and balance, you might say the sticker price?
If you wanna keep it private, no worries mate.

Did you purchase 5 wheels and tires?
If you didn't and plan on a rear bumper tire hanger, I suggest that you go back out and get that fifth wheel. Reason: you never know how long they will be making that wheel.
I purchased 5 wheels for my Hundy, but only 4 tires 'cause I don't have my rear bumper and tire carrier yet. For me, why put out all that cash right now and take up all that space in my garage, which is already too small.
When I get my bumper and tire carrier, I get that fith tire.

The total came to $2200 for everything including four wheels, tires, mount, balance, valve stems, new black lug nuts and black wheel locks and whatever else they did.

I did not get the spare but I already had a 275/70R18 (33") spare on a Tundra rim when I was running the Cooper Zeon LTZs. I really did not like the extra 20 lbs per wheel running E rated tires.

My dislike for E rated tires (too heavy, less MPG, stiff, slow) is the reason I went with the 275/60R20 (also 33"). It is P rated and can still carry 2600 lbs per wheel. My preference was 275/70R18 (same rim) but that size is only available with an E rating.

Just drove 900 miles from FL to TN to visit the in laws and the new wheels and tires were great. Maybe a little stiffer than the 18s.

I also measured the ride height and cranked my TBs a little to raise the front and even things out. Looks even better now.

The longer I have them the more I like the new tires.

Planning to run a similar set-up. Will either be running 275-60-20 or 275-55-20. Will I rub with either at stock height? (LX470) Also, to the OP, how is the ride, braking, and acceleration compared to the 18" set-up?
