Hello there submarine qualified dude. Same here! Did you check out that green 97 Landcruiser at the corner at Gorst? Expensive huh? 14K no lockers and @ 160K miles.

nice ride

yep  , never stopped especially after seeing the price. There is a 91-92 at the junkyard on the way to Belfair asking 6K, haven't had a reason to stop yet, maybe out of curiosity. Wife would probably kill me anyway, get enough grief over the LX and the new lift. :ban:

lol the wife unit! heheheh i know how you feel! Wife calls my LX my girlfriend! (cause i probably pay more attention to Lexi) :flipoff2:

Suprisingly quiet on the highway, haven't had a chance yet to try them out in the dirt/mud. Hopefully as soon as I finish the lift for offroad (extended brakes lines, bumpstops, etc.).

Be calling C-Dan Monday for those front bump stops. Is there some reason the LX didn't come with them, anybody?

Not sure Kaz , and my 97 80 didn't have em either. Dan was kind enough to climb under his 80, take his off .. hunt for a serial number, and dial up Japan to order me a set! Talk about customer service ...

TY

Im pretty sure you do have bump stops. You have to extend them.

I have rear ones, but none for the front. I have the spring stops front & rear that are inside the springs, but nothing outside the spring on the front axle. Maybe Toyota never expected someone to need them on an LX?

The fronts were only installed on the 1993 model year vehicles. In addition the parts catalog does not indicate that they exist.

Ohhhh. I thought those were the bump stops (the one inside the springs) OK.

That is refered to as a "spring follow".

Thanks on that Dan, i'll check the local junkyards for some 93's, otherwise expect a call.
