Here....mostly.
Hey Guys, well, like I said in my first thread a month or so ago...we're coming down to AZ. My family and most tools are up in Utah still, but I drove my cruiser down 2 weekends ago and something must have happened just outside Phoenix. I've got some really bad acceleration problems. I've been troubleshooting it with the guys from my old club and in the hotel parking lot as much as I can, but I'm in need of some local assitance. Does anyone have a Fuel Pressure meter that goes up around 60-100 PSI? I think stock range for an 80 is 43psi or so, but I think that's where the problem is. Fuel Pump or TPS. I'm currently staying in a hotel on Thomas and 3rd, so something close would be ideal as it's really not running well.
Here's the problem if you have any ideas as well.
Under no load, in P, if you hit the gas the RPMS spike, the fuel mixture meter stays on track, and the boost gauge spikes. If you put it in any gear, and give it any amount of gas more than a little granny would, it boggs down, the fuel mixture meter drops Lean and goes off the scale, and the boost gauge tries to climb and drops. This happens at any speed as well, stopped, or running 65 MPH. You just have to be really light on the skinny pedal.

Thanks for the reading.

I have a decent shop in the backyard with tons o' tools, but no pressure guage specifically made for fuel. I could probably rig something up, or purchase something (any excuse to buy a tool is good for me). Anyway, if you need a place to work, gimme a call. The house is near Cave Creek and Greenway Roads. I'll be home most of the day Wed. and Thurs. I have no experience with SC's but some with turbos.

Thanks for the offer Spike, I'm flying out tomorrow afternoon so I can't take you up on the offer this week, but I may be calling you next week. Thanks again.
