New in Box - 80 series Milford Cargo Barrier - SOLD

SOLD

One 80 series Milford Cargo Barrier. Never opened.

Location: Omaha, NE 68137

$[STRIKE]800.00[/STRIKE] + Shipping
Now $650 + Shipping.

Carton size is 45"x58"x4". Weight ~45 lbs+/-.
I can drop it off at any trucking terminal within 20 miles of 68137.
Local pick up is fine.
I will MudShip if the purchaser sets it up and pays in full before pick up AND can make it happen within 30 days of purchase.

I purchased two of these from a shop in Australia because I have two FZJ80s. I found shipping for them back to the US then paid shipping to Omaha from the coast. The idea was to put one in my truck and one in my wife's truck. The wife said, "No way in hell you're putting that in my truck!" So, I have one to spare/sell.

I agonized for a long time about how to price this.

I split the difference between covering my direct $$$ outlay and accounting for my time and patience.

I am not a Milford dealer. I have only one of these to sell. Conditions of sale are as is where is, no returns, exchanges or complaints - I will cooperate with shipping, but shipping is at the purchaser's expense.

The original carton has never been opened. The carton has been slightly flattened - normal condition of something in these dimensions and size. Both cartons were in the same shape. The one I opened and installed had only one flaw - the little glass-breaking hammer's plastic casing was missing one of the hooks to hang it on the grate.

If enough people demand it, I'll open the carton and take pictures. The catch is re-packaging it - the carton is likely to die in the unboxing.

Please let me know if there are any questions.

Thank you.

Interested, put me in line. Can you post or PM/E-mail some pics of the one you have installed in your 80? Especially closeups of where/how it is drilled/bolted into the truck.

No, you can't be the front of the line contingent on additional information. If someone else lays $800 out and says 'sell it to me' before I have the chance to take pics of the one installed in mine, it will sell to them.

It may be several days before I can unload my truck in order to take pictures under the carpeting.

No sweat, I'll hover. If someone else buys it, so be it:grinpimp:

Thanks though;)

I did a quick search and found these detailed instructions for installation in an LX450.

The Milford barriers are a great product and I highly recommend them if you are carrying kids and gear in the truck.

My wife misplaced our digital camera - just in time to not get pictures at Christmas.

So.. I'm not able to put additional pictures of the 2nd barrier (the one installed in my truck) up right now as a result. If the camera doesn't show up in the next week or so, I'll have to buy a new one.

Regardless, there are lots of pictures online of how these mount in the truck. The above link is good too. The mounting system is solid. These are the real deal - not just a dog barrier but an actual cargo barrier built to protect the passengers from the cargo.

I realize there are two of these posted up right now - both NIB. This situation is a rarity that hasn't been seen in years. If you have ever wanted one of these, this is the opportunity.

Installation -does- require drilling in the cargo area. If this seems daunting to you, the instructions are pretty good. Your local body shop should be able to handle the installation. I had mine installed at Sleeoffroad - since I was getting the truck re-geared at the time it made good sense to have them take care of it.

NorCalDoug had a great idea with further discounting local pick up - so I'll steal that. There are not many of us in the Omaha/Lincoln/KC area though. I'll knock $75 off the price if someone wants to do a cash & carry on it. It would save me taking a couple of hours off work to drop it off at a shipper.

If anyone local wants to take a look/feel at one installed - I can arrange that as well since I have one in my truck.

Thanks!

Still available. Price now $750 + shipping. My digital camera is still MIA.

If one of the local guys wants it, I'll still knock off $75 if you pick it up from my door on an evening or weekend = $675. I'll apply that same discount to a mudship with pre-payment and pick up times.

Thanks!

Another shipping method?

From what I can tell, Greyhound can ship it from here (Omaha, Nebraska) to New York city for under $100. The longest dimension is 58", so you can run calculations on their site if you're inclined to.
Greyhound PackageXpress

The digital camera has been found. I hope to be able to take pictures of the installed one in the next few days. Are there any particular angles anyone wants?

My wife wants a new kitchen. So, I'm cleaning up the garage. Time for this to go.

Price for the NIB Milford is now $650 + shipping.

Mudship or local purchase saves $50 = $600 if it is picked up from my garage door.

Just to clarify - full length or half length?

You have me thinking real hard about it. I really like the one in your truck. Great product. I use the 3rd row way too often to install it though. Hope the right person sees this post. I would definitely suggest it.

You know it's removable by spinning 4 wing nuts right?

I have mine in with normal-nuts on the bottom because I don't want the extra bump from wing nuts on the bottom end - toolboxes.

Come over some evening and I'll show you the details if you want.

Still for sale. I've gone down as far as I can on the price.
