Hey, all. Picked up a '10 Premium with 34k miles (!) the other week. Two-owner California car that was traded in at a Cadillac dealer in Newport Beach. It has been meticulously maintained and is practically indistinguishable from new. It's almost too nice...
So far, not much to report. I've only replaced the original tires (2009 date code!) with 265/70 Wildpeaks on stock GX470 wheels. The 3rd row came out yesterday. I'll do a DIY rear floor plate. Trans cooler is next. Then air compressor.
I'm new to the GX world so still learning. What I have in mind is a mild build suitable for SoCal desert off-roading. I'd like to retain enough civility that I don't hate to drive it on longer road trips with the SO and our big mastiff/pit. Modest lift, retain KDSS, sliders, that kind of thing.
It's a shame the Prado 150 rear door is unobtainium here since it'd be great to get the spare out from underneath (and put the factory aux fuel tank in its place)...
