I won't make any comments about the sliders but invest in a pair of seat covers from Great Covers out of CO. They're well made for the money.

Unfortunately, my finances are completely tapped out, plus some, for this truck. I can't really afford anything beyond PM stuff for a while. I think just taking off the running boards would make a huge difference. We'll see about sliders.

Taking off the running boards is foolish until you have sliders my friend. The last thing you need to do is pull a Ron and dent in the rocker panel! If you dent the running boards, so be it. You can get another used pair for cheap I'm sure.
