Did you ever get your charcoal canister replaced?? How do you tell the one you have is bad? Why can't you use a coffee can with briquets in it and save for the BBQ?
 
I figured mine was toast because of the amount of tank pressure and at altitude fuel was boiling off in the tank. I changed it out with the GM cheapo the day before the bacon run and had no pressure problems up there at all

@Kief I have one from either a jeep or Chevy I'm playing with to see which one I can get to fit better. I'm not sure if an OEM would fit any better with the aluminum radiator. I was just running out of time and had to drive it to work this morning
 
Got my rear spacers in last night with about a total time of 20 minutes? and did some rerouting of the tail pipe so I quit dragging it on everything.

Oh I tried, but she has sound logic. I didn't let her drive, so she doesn't need to wash it lol
 
I need to start sourcing parts for a manual swap. More then likely a 4 speed just because there more plentiful and cheaper. And it just fits my driving preference a lot better. That's the only true complaint I have with my 80.
 
You have a 3FE, right? If you are going to swap the trans for a manual, you might as well pull a TBI 5.7, NV4500, NP2?? out of a Chev and swap it all over...

I thought about full swap all at once but there isnt anything wrong with my 3fe as it sits. Plus if/when I go to do a small block swap it can be mated to the 4 speed
