i found on ebay new headlights that are similar to 06/07 ones but they are an exact fit for 98 to 05 models (no need to buy the valance and grille from the 06/07 model), any ideas on this ? its like 210 $ shipped .

That would be a nice improvement if they are plug and play. Mine are very bright.

You don't have those on the 05 huh? I guess they changed them on the LC when they went to the LED in the back on the 06.
 
It appears they are made by depo. I have depo headlights in my 80 and am very impressed for the price. Clean cutoff great fit and finish. Go for it.
 
These are much needed by me, I wonder how many sets he has. I have 2 cracked turn signals and 1 headlight with dust inside. I will ask about the number available.
 
well i ordered the lights , i e-mailed the seller , asked a few questions , it appears to be an ok deal ......:rolleyes:

i should get them in a week.

if they fit as advertised that could be a great solution for people wanting to upgrade to the 06/07 lights for a fraction of the price.

i'll keep you guys posted.

I have sent e-mails to a few people, who bought these lights from e-bay, asking them about the lights. They all stated that the quality of these lights was excellent.

Please keep us informed.
 
you guys are driving up the price ;-) It was $165 he now wants $215....

edit - I found a few in his eBay "store" still for $165, but others are now $215 - just an fyi

It was 165 plus 50 for shipping. So the price appears to be the same.
 
I was looking at these headlights too, and I asked a lot a questions about fit a while back, but nothing was really confirmed or guarenteed. I was actually debating between these and the 06-07 headlights for my current ls430 retro, and went with the oem housings because I knew(or thought I did) that it would be an easier fit. To me, thesse look like they would fit the 06-07 and just maybe the 03-05 grills...I don't know, the 92-02 might be iffy...


supply and demand was actually covered in econ 200 at UW... :)

Some difference! Now we're talking lighting. Can even see the marks the SWAT left on your front door...:grinpimp:

Would be very interesting to see what these Depots will do for the 100...
 
That's puts some perspective in this upgrade!

Whose been beating on that door? 5-0?
Couldn't really tell in photo #1, but with the new and improved reflectors, you can see that someone has been trying to gain entry.
