Hey guys.. I usually spend my time over in the 80 series forums since my DD is a 93 FZJ80. However, my attention has now turned towards a 1987 Pickup I was gifted by my cousin who bought it new in California. It has spent its life in California, then Colorado now it has joined my fleet here in KS. I am trying to take care of some of the more pressing issues and one is the shift lever retainer (3350635070) had a pin shear off which makes shifting very challenging and sloppy. I was pretty sure that finding parts for these older trucks would be a bit of a pain. My normal goto place (Partsouq) Does not appear to have any in stock. I found one in Japan but the seller gets pretty bad reviews and it will take about a month to get it. So my question is what are some good places or people on this forum that sell used parts for our trucks? Hoping I can find someone who might have one of these laying around they would sell me. Anyhow thanks for the time and look forward to learning more about these trucks.. Here are some pics!

Nice truck. You can find parting out ads from time to time here and on YotaTech.

You could check out Marlin short throw shifter too. Have heard mixed reviews on the feel, but quality is supposed to be very good.

Marlin's short trow shifter stuff works really well for me. No more banging knuckles on the dash.

Looks great but yikes close to 400 bucks for that shifter :>0

Well I re-checked Partsouq this morning and now it is in stock Yeah! 50 bucks plus new gaskets and bushings should be here in a week or so. Love that place ;>> Thanks for the replies everyone!

Since I’ve moved from 4x4 to motorcycle adventures 400$ is cheap. All about perspective right? Seriously the short throw will be your best bet.
