New Goodyear Duratrac RT?

RT is the updated version of the DuraTrac which was already a great tire. They kept the good (aggressive look) and fixed the downfalls (failure-prone sidewalls). Same carcass, different tread design (think more AT and less MT). Improved sidewall (3-ply instead of the old 2-ply). Now the sidewalls can survive in the terrain where the tread can take you.

I've had the DuraTracs for 17k+ miles. Almost entirely road use, but 0 complaints. *Good* gas mileage, quiet, decent and even wear, relatively comfortable with the air pressure dialed. I'll have another set - if not the RTs - when I need them.

@Flatlanderfj40 and @clrussell can probably tell you more.

Looks like Goodyear recently released a 200-friendly flavor of their new Duratrac RT tire: Wrangler DuraTrac® RT Tires | Goodyear Tires - https://www.goodyear.com/en_US/tires/wrangler-duratrac-rt/24913-15003699100000.html?back=tireFinder

Anybody have these yet?
I’m running the 285/75r18 on my tundra. Excellent snow/wet and look. Off-road will be improved with the construction. 3ply bead to bead. Also, 3pms in ALL sizes. My 10th or so set with some achieving 78k highway miles before changeover. Do it.

My go-to tire, best all around if you spend time in the snow, highway and some off-road... I have 30k on mine, can't wait to move up to the RT (275/70R18 in this iteration is a tad larger @33.4x11 vs 33.2x11)
