Back to work for me! Thank you again Martin! Your winch line bars and light bar security screws are on their way

Doing sliders at all?

@RDC76 Nice job! Thanks for shipping out such a great looking, well packaged product! Its about time someone figured out how to package a bumper properly. The design and finish all look great too! Kinda makes me want to sell off my AOE bumper and trade up for yours...

Thanks again guys for all the supportive comments. Not sure if I'll do sliders like your used too. Not saying I won't, just The ones I've been doing lately are the weld in rocker replacement type. For people with hammered or wroughted rockers that need replacement. Mine will be getting those. As I have some rust on my rocker. I think I posted a pic in my bumper thread of ones I did on a 2014 xterra. He just put them threw their paces in Moab and Colorado. And came home without a dent. You can see them in action on my Facebook page. The rear bumper is up next after I finish the last couple fronts I'm working on for people.
I also just ordered yesterday a torchmate 4x4 CNC plasma table with water bath and a hypertherm powermax 85. this should help out tremendously on cutting down on the time it takes to produce parts. And also allow me to really up my game. I'll be able to cut up to 1-1/4" in house! So things are gonna get good going into the new year once I get that running and reconfigure my small shop to be more efficient space wise.
Thanks again
Rich

Sorry my bad. I need to update my signature and put a banner together. You'll need to scroll down to the xterra and then click on the comments to see the pics. If your looking for those. Scroll back further on the time line to see the actual build/install and click on those comments as well to see more pics.

Hey Rich,
Really nice bumper you have put together, I am excited to see what you come up with for a rear.

I have 2 80's a green one with an ARB and slee rear, and a white one that still has stock bumpers.

I wheel the piss out of my green one and wouldn't mind moving the ARB over to the white 80 for road duty. I do have some very nice baja designs Lapaz HID's that I would like to kee on the green 80, do you have any plans for incorporating a little more bar work to accommodate larger round driving lights?

Thanks for the compliment! My bumpers and parts are all made to order. so I could set yours or anyone else's up to accommodate whatever you may want. I'm building a heavy duty version now where the wings are made from 3/16" instead of 10 gauge and it will have a higher center hoop and bars across the lights that wrap around ( at that point I believe it would fit the lights you mentioned) And Also high lift jack pockets in the bottom of the outer wings. All of which the customer specified. Ill be starting the rear as soon as I finish that. The rear is going to be a challenge as I have quite a few ideas Id like to incorporate. The customer has also specified quite a wish list. All of which I will try to incorporate as clean as possible. He has put a LOT of thought in what he wants in a rear bumper and it should be a fun/challenging build. Feel free to message me to discuss things further or over the phone if your interested.

Thanks
Rich

Great looking bumper! Well thought out and very clean! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with for the rear as well.

That is a fantastic looking bumper. Mi gusta!

I will be very interested to see how this bumper comes out. Sounds like its in line with what I am thinking.

It's been a couple months since I received and installed my Costa Fab front bumper, and I wanted to give a quick update. After getting to use the bumper on a few outings I'd say the approach angle is great, and the raised corners give your tires a chance to get to an obstacle before your bumper does. I think the weight to strength ration on this bumper is second to none. I have a F350 pickup with a steel flat bed, 1500 pound feed box full of feed, loaded down with tools that I buried in the mud recently. The truck was sitting on the frame from front to back, the diffs were so buried you couldn't even see them. I tried to use another truck to get it out (a 1 ton chevy) and we couldn't even budge the F350 before we jerked the chevy down in the mud stuck as well. I didn't think the cruiser could get them out, but it was my only option left short of hauling a big tractor out to the pasture. I anchored the cruiser and tried to winch the truck. I have a M8000 and it would stall out without even budging the truck. As the bumper is designed, I put a snatch block in place and ran my thimble back to the recovery point on the front bumper and secured it there. I was then able to slowly winch the truck out of the mud. I was watching the bumper very closely because I did not want to damage it. The bumper never budged! This thing is very stout and extremely well built (not to mention very good looking). After a good bit of use I am still giving this bumper and Rich Costa 2 thumbs up!
