I have received a refund of the shipping cost, but not yet the cost of the shocks (two seperate payments) but paypal tried to issue a refund for the cost of the shocks and his bank has declined it.

So 1/2 refunds so far, the second one is the big one, hopefully it comes through eventually, but this is progress.

Simon has informed me that he's doing his best and will not bail out on us. He insisted that he will refund everyone their money and not screw anyone. He gave me his word as im the one caught in the middle. The hard part for him is, no money is coming in.. so he's trying as best he can to get everyone taken care of, slowly but surely. I want to give him the benefit of the doubt right now. I know he was trying to do something for all of us again, and it seemed to once again backfire.

Just got off the phone with Down South and he said they can do the conversion for the fronts to set it up to a Stem to Stem mount. the fronts were quoted at around $225 and the rear about $190. This is per shock - 2.0 resis. He also said he would give us a special price for a group buy!!!

he ask me to find out about how many people are interested in it. then he said we could go over some numbers for the group buy prices.

he also said they offer different lengths.

What do you guys think??

*Edit* and they would valve to our specs.

I am going to take my rig down to him and have him check my valve specs. and adjust my rears as they are a little to soft from what Simon has them set at now.

Please email me if you are interested. Hendricksondataservices@gmail.com and give me as much detail as possible about your rig. I.E weight, lift, tire size so he can give his recommendations.

I could be persuaded to order a pair for the rear, depending on what the price comes out to (unless this is a club specific buy :) ) My first set came from DSM...good service.

If anyone has ordered and paid (with proof of payment) Simon Morris for shocks and did not receive them, please PM me. Please do not contact me if you were not involved in the group buy or were involved but already received your shocks.

Frank,
that is perfect , but lets not forget the size tires your going to be running. I was informed tire size and weight goes into properly valving shock. I never knew that.

After everyone that is interested in the Socal section I will post a new thread for a group buy for anyone else that wants to get in on it. Ill leave it open for a few weeks then submit the spreadsheet to Down South.

I still need to get in there for them to see what the Valving is set at for my application. They want to provide the best service to all of us and want to make us happy the first time.

I know a lot of people are waiting on the price before they commit to this. I assure you I will have the price nailed down before long.

Its a work in progress and ill get answers to everyone as soon as i have them.

If I could have anyone that is interested in the group buy please
email me on my person email. Hendricksondataservices@gmail.com

Thanks guys for your patience & frank ill hold you to the

Any word on price?

225 per corner.... that's rough. how does the price compare to bilstein remote resis?

Maybe rough but cheaper than most. I dont know what the bilsteins are going for but if you look up king's it about $400 per corner and radflo is about $300 per corner.

The price i have up there is to give people an idea what the average cost is for the FOX 2.0 resis, remember this will not be the price. I am still working with down south on the price and it will be a little less than what i have posted right now.

I agree. Kings are about 800 a pair . Radlfo can be had for $300 - $350 a shock  The Fox group buy is very reasonable compared to King and Radflo cost. If the final cost is somewhere in between $225 - $150, we are getting a good deal!

Radflo said:
As a matter of interest, do these shocks have a 5/8" shaft or a 7/8" shaft?

Glenn

Hey Guys sorry for the Delay. Its been very busy for me at the office the last few weeks. I am still working with Down South MotorSports on the group buy..

Downsouth Will be able to do the 2.0 resis for us, as far as the steering damper I am working with FOX to see if we can get that from them. I gave FOX the part #'s for the steering damper Simon sent me. From what FOX said they do not make one for the LC's. The Part Number that I gave him was linked to a Jeep JK so the guy I have been talking to is looking into it. once he gets back to me Ill post his findings.

Both FOX and Downsouth are busy with the baja race right now, but the group buy is still in affect. I am still putting the list together. I only have it posted here as of right now for the SoCal guys, Ill post a Formal group buy for everyone else after I have all the socal guys taken care of.

Quick question, I know the holidays are coming and this time of year is expensive, So would you guys want to have this done before Christmas or After when people have a chance to recover from the holidays?

thanks for the understanding guys, I want to make sure i get this all Right the first time. That is why I am taking my time and asking allot of questions to FOX and Downsouth.

CruiserCouple.

P.S. Frank the dog is doing great she love's the SoCal lifestyle :)
