SOLD - SOLD - SOLD! NEW PICTURES-1977 FJ 40, classic Dune Beige,4.11 axle ratio, unmolested, mostly original, solid, great original condition and hardly ever driven in summer only. Imported from Australia, right hand drive, factory no emissions 2F(less maintenance and better running), full floating rear axle, front disc brake conversion, safari rack, 6,000 miles on new clutch, 9,000 miles on new radiator. Currently has 51,000 KILOMETERS(31,620 miles), everything works but needs some drivetrain seals replaced. Located in northern IN. Priced at $15,000.

Has the interest on 40 series dropped as much as it appears? No questions? No criticisms? Nothing? Come on, at least give me some s***.

Yes-Interest in 40s has dropped a lot, plus yours while a really nice looking low mile example, is really expensive.

It also has wild cards of import status, right hand drive and smog legality, so it actually isn't too surprising that interest is low.

You'll find the right person, it just may take some time. Good luck.

Yeah I've been away for awhile. So it must make a big difference that 80 series get 12 MPG verses 10 MPG.

With the classified ad you don't pay all the bs fee's and you can get more exposure. If I didn't have two 40's I would be all over this one. Your close too, Im just in WI. Maybe 6 hours away...lol. Some nice pics in daylight will do that truck wonders. You can even park your Audi in the back ground...jk. I'll be putting one of my 40's up for sale and just giving you the avenue I'm taking. Never tried to remove top. I would guess it would be a PITA if even possible.
