I will hopefully soon be the proud new owner of this '67 FJ45LV! I've just got to jump though all the hoops to legally register it before it's mine. It's a Central American production truck with no heater installed (but I don't need one here in Guatemala City anyways). There appears to be very little rust on it. Certainly the floors are much better than the FJ55 was when we started with that. There is a little rust at the roof rain gutter in a small area.

It will be the auto shop project for the next year or two undergoing a full restoration, front disk swap and possible 4 speed (it's a three speed on the floor now). It'll be torn right down and rebuilt top to bottom. If the original F engine is not worth rebuilding it may get a diesel but I'd like to keep it stock!

Advice on parts sources is appreciated. I expect this will make looking for FJ55 parts seem easy! Fortunately it's mostly complete and is currently driveable!

SWeeeet!

Congratulations! That's one sweet rig. Post up some more pics inside and out when you get the chance.

Just to give you an early heads up, the tail light lenses have been reproduced and are avaliable over on Pirate 4x4. Specter Off Road is already selling the headliner, and will soon be supplying carpet kits, door panals and skins, front and rear seat upholstery, interior firewall cover, and even more parts. They are working really hard to get their stuff to look exactly like factory.

Nice! You'll find that while parts are hard to find, from the firewall forward, and most all mechanical parts are same as FJ40, which helps a lot. Converting to a 2F/4speed, and axles out of a 76+ FJ40 helps alot with mechanical parts, and modern drivability. Spector Offroad odes have some cool things like interior door panels, seat covers, headliner either available or in the works, and more coming. Pirate4x4.com has some neat repro parts aailalbe like tail light lenses...which I see you have. You might think about getting a spare set while they're available....G'luck, keep us posted, and welcome:)
