So cal
Short story..
new oem head, GP and injectors...after a few cranks to get fuel it ran great. started within 1 or 2 revolutions. ran awesommmme.

but began to idle high after warming up...search yielded diaphragm.
i had a couple of hours, disconnected the edic and pulled the old diaphram out..it had 2 holes. perfect. new one in went as easy as it could.

never touched any fuel lines or connections.:mad:

will not start. i disconnected the edic to make sure it was not acting up....nothing. it has fuel to the filter and the IP but nada...any ideas?

it makes little sense to me...:doh:

Thanks Flop...
As I walked back out to try your suggestion I nearly tripped over the rather large spring that was "supposed" to go under the diaphragm cover...
I feel rather stupid.....but it now starts and idles really well...i will get to drive it tomorrow...:doh:

And how many drinks did you consume to psych yourself up for your fiddly diaphragm job?

:D

LOL, i wish I could blame it on drinks...

The good news is I am more than happy with new head,
the turbo, the new injectors, the new diaphram
it starts easy and fast, no smoke..and has about twice the power
it did when i bought it....

NOW I will have drinks...:beer::flipoff2:
