Hello all,

Proline were on here last summer and showed pictures of their Elite bumper. I really liked their R1 and Rally bumpers made for other models. They tailored everything we wanted in a bumper, mixing and matching the various options per our request.

I'm a big follower of global LC instagrammers and noticed that South American LCers are pretty heavy users of proline. Lighter and very strong and also a style updated from what we know and love from the 80s.

We are still working on alignment but it took only a few hours to disassemble OEM then attach new:

That looks great. Can't see from the pics but i hope you kept a decent gap between the bumper and fender.

Thank you and agreed, we're still tweaking. Pretty precise construction and it's more like 20mm at the moment. We'll shake it down and see how it fares then go back and loctite at final. Simple to adjust but physically hard to balance out all the lines over the entirety of the fitment.

Also need to shift the TJM15k control box 5-8mm away from the front grill but that's easy enough :)

Love it! You definitely need the gap. Ive almost had fender contact with the TJM with a 30mm gap. Also make sure the lines are not directly under the headlights or you will crack a lens during flex.

I took the liberty of a couple more pics after a shakedown run to the grocery this evening.
I'd still like the gap to the fender to be bigger although it is bigger than it looks in this pic. It's a little deceiving, and it doesn't help that I am probably the worst photographer in the known universe.

Looks good and it also looks beefy. Based on the pic's if you were in a head on that bumper and skid plate would divert all the crash energy under the truck and away from the cabin. If it was a small car you might not even know you ran over them ;)

Looks great! I like the unique style.

Looks good.... but.... it needs to be on a Lexus. Let me know when that one comes out. ;)

I'm sure they'd be happy to fab one up for you. If you took it down to MIA they'd probably even do all the fascia mods to make it happen :)

Something to think about, that is for sure! Very cool!

that looks great - congrats
what roof rack did you go with? is that a frontrunner or?

It's an eezi-awn from South Africa. Paul hooked us up from equipt1.com Extremely happy with it. 2.2m - the thing is HUGE and stout. Just what we wanted.

Paul's a great guy and provided fantastic customer service around my 4Runner's eezi-awn rack and awning. If I were to put a rack on my 200, I'd do it again.

Wow. That thing looks like a battering ram at center with those vertical points around the winch...and also the cornered supports surrounding the bar. Would put a serious hurt on someone if you ran into them.

Do you happen to know if they make one with a full bull bar?

I like it!

:)

Looks like it sticks out pretty far. Would like to see the profile.

Hi all,

They will custom make whatever you want but I don't think they have an existing ARB/TJM style, that said they do have more extreme versions of that idea :)

There is a ton of clearance up front but I don't have great profile photos

Dig the 80 influence.

How much does the rally bumper weigh?
