Not only did we move, I just got a new cruiser dog a couple weeks ago. She is a 4 to 5 month old Sheppard/Chow mix that we adopted from Pima Animal Control.

Now I just need to get the cruiser running so she can go with me. :-)

Congrats! Rescue / shelter dogs are great. Here's ours (Lucy, she's and Australian Kelpie):

Oh and the shoes? She tore up her pads in the swimming pool this summer.

So is this the "Post your Pups" thread?

Nice dawgs... nice cruiser...

X2 on the shelter dogs! Nice looking pup!

Simon is on the left (13 years old-from the Humane Society) and Simca on the right (6 years old-from Border Animal Rescue).

Thanks, you too! What breed is the one on the left? Looks like a twin of my Kelpie.

Since we're posting dog pics...

Dyna, she's 6 now. We got her from the Humane Society 3 years ago. She's a great dog and Zoe has a great time playing with her.

My Vet refers to him as a "Sh*t Shepherd". I'm pretty sure she means it in a nice way. She thinks he's Australian Shepherd+Coyote+who knows what else. He is very friendly, now if I could just get him to quit shedding!

Cool dog, Alvin!

Thanks Rex.
She was listed as Boxer mix and came from a family who had other, bigger dogs. The bigger dogs were asserting their alpha on her to much so they gave her up. She now has an alpha complex when it comes to other dogs. She knows her place in our family, but always tries to show she's boss when she meets other dogs.
She is so patient with Zoe it's hard to believe. She lets Zoe grab her, hang on her, ride her, you name it and only 3 times in 3 years has she ever growled at Zoe. She even starts barking at me if I start tickling Zoe and get her squealing. Awesome dog for our family!

Here are my 3. The little one is about 6 months old now and weighs about 80 lbs. He's gonna be a big guy.

Right now about $200/month not including chew toys or treats. That's with about 270 total pounds of dogs, potentially we'll have 400-ish pounds of dog when Ajax is fully grown.

Cool dog Alvin, looks kinda like a Rhodesian Ridgeback/boxer mix.

She does look like she has some Rhody in her.

Cayce, 80 pounds at 6 months? Whew, who gets to do the Tootsie Roll Patrol in your yard:D

We've been trying to get Woody to create a pet and animal section on the big board, but so far, no luck.. Dogs and cruisers just go together.

bulk dog food

A.Mus.ed, if you dont already know, Petco has a 200lb discount. If you buy 200lbs of dogfood at a time, you get 10% off (on your entire purchase, so chew toys too). Plus, every 10 bags you buy, you get one free, so essentially another 10% savings. You usually have to ask for the 200lb discount, as it appearantly doesnt happen that often, so a new clerk might not know about it.

This is from a man with 4 lab retrievers... they eat 40lbs a week (and poo at least 80 lbs a week).
