I have these on my LX. 18 inch size though. They have 48k miles on them, 5+/32 thread - just checked. They are pretty decent in city and highway. They go through some light off-roading on road trips, e.g. Pony Express Trail. Nothing of Telegraph Road level of abuse. They are not rated high for winter driving, but I did quite a bit of that, and they were able to do very well, e.g. ascends to Timberline Lodge and back were easy and quick, and that was a rather nasty shallow snow on ice. I rotate them every 5K.

Had the Latitudes and the LTX M/S back when my 16s were my all-season wheels. I used the LTX's all year round and they seemed to do better in the ice and snow (not that you have the problem). The LTX's super quiet and tread life was incredible... the sidewalls started dry-rotting before any appreciable tread wear was apparent - I had them for 5 years! I only had the Latitudes for a year before I switched to my 18's and got snows on the 16's so I can't really say anything about long-term durability, but they rode well and were relatively quiet. For your application they'd be a good choice IMO.

I had Michelin LTX MS2 on our Sequoia for several years before we sold it. It last a long time, smooth and very quiet. Latitude was installed on LC when we bought it. We drove it for 10 months or so before being replaced by KO2, including KY to FL road trip last summer. Latitude was also quiet and smooth, but traction was not as good as the LTX. Granted the Latitude was nearing the end of its life. Take a look at the review on tirerack. I think LTX MS2 is ranked no 1 if not one of the top tire in its class.

She is on her second set of LTX and like others have said they rot before they wear out .... I don't know if it's just her or the tire but I have had more nails in the sets of LTX tires than any tires in my life... I don't know if it's the tread design or the deep tread or what the cause is... BUT I'd rate it very high also... Really I ordered the Latitude based on the reviews and the price... I doubt it will last as long as the LTX but these off ebay are about half the price of the LTX if i purchased them local with all the fees and taxes and disposal charge they put on new tires here...

IF she doesn't like them.. I have a brand new set of the LTX that came on my latest lx450 that I'll just swap around...

thanks for the input from all... others experience here often means more than any printed reviews

+1 on them being a Michelin, may not be the best tire they produce but at the end of the day you know it's not going to be junk either. And for that price range I didn't find an obvious better buy over those.

Tires came in day before yesterday... so took 2 days to get here... not bad... just saw them today (they shipped to my warehouse/shop/condo) they look nice.. They do NOT have the tread depth of the LTX and the pattern is not as "aggressive" but I think they will be good.... I'm one of the people that had bad luck with some wheel cleaner that took some paint off the factory LX wheels so I'll refinish the wheels while they are dismounted... and maybe replace the one broken front lug nut from 6 years ago

I'm on the second set of Latitude Tour 18 inch on the wife's RX. Got about 50,000 miles on the first set with 4/32 left. Good ride with no complaints.
