Check spindle to body spacing, swing arm use, handles latch and release smoothly, fitment in general. Should be good with them doing it in house, but some of the DIY installs are working through some issues...

I'm supposed to get my rear bumper sometime next week here in Texas. Anybody have pictures of theirs installed already?

@Finnyfam60 Anyone run into any major issues preventing the bumper from being installed? I hope my apprehension is unwarranted. It's a lot of money and DC is a long way aways from TX.

@socallove is the only one I know of that installed his own and his buddy's.. He mentioned he will reach out to you. Rest assured, nothing prevented installation.

Hey guys, there were some issues but we are working to resolve them. DC is doing their best, they were slow to reply last week because they were swamped.

Got my dc fab bumper today

This bumper is put together really well. The wings don't flex and all of the welds are really nice. Spindle is HUGE. It's a pretty damn nice piece.

Looks good. I cruise up next week to get mine installed, can't wait.

Drove up to paradise CA yesterday to get mine installed. Very happy with the design, build, and quality. Dallas and crew are great guys and had my bumper installed in the time.it to to walk my dogs. I am a happy customer and would recomended based on my experience. This is a solid piece of armor.

Can someone let me know whether the latch system that secures the swing-outs so that get don't rattle or make noise.

I saw a picture where they look like the free end of the swing-out doesn't make firm contact with the bumper, so am wondering.

Also, any concerns with only 6 bolts holding the bumper on?

4x4 labs only uses 4 bolts on the bottom....and 6 12mm bolts on the side!

If the 4x4 Labs rear bumper uses a total of 10 bolts, that is still 4 bolts more than the DC Fabrication rear bumper is using.

The 6 bolts may be fine. I am just looking for some reassurance.

you are fine!! one thing is for sure, DC fab bumper is a well DESIGNED bumper...4x4labs is the bauhaus version of it! form follows function!

Drove up to Paradise a couple days ago and got my new bumper installed. Took them all of 45 minutes to get the new bumper installed and myself back on the road. They were super nice and explained everything about it to me. It really is a stout bumper and the fit is excellent with not a single rattle or vibration. Pretty happy I made the decision to get it from DC. Thanks to everyone involved in getting this whole group purchase together.

Dalma,

I think I have pictures from your install. I was texting with DC Fab last Wednesday about what it took to install and they sent me a number of images of the rear crossmember removal.

Looks beautiful! Best looking bumper in my opinion. I think it may be the cut corners which make it visually appealing due to the less boxy look.

What did you do about the placement of the resonator and rear pipe after install? Where did you relocate them to?

resonator you dont need!! just cut the pipe and save yourself a couple of pounds!
