interested in plans or diy kit ... so far this is the nicest bumper ive seen , cant wait to get kit !!!

You shopping for bumped after OTMT this past weekend?
I've already picked out sliders and a lift kit.

Nice, will look for some build up pics in the UC board.

My rear has been naked for a couple years now. I was ready to put some $$ down on a Bink's rear at the end of last year but that fell thru. A rear will round out my armor package and I like the quarter and rear corners on this one, plus the idea of a kit interests me to help save some $$ on labor.

Hey Guys,
I have had an e-mail or phone call on products for these rigs once a week consistently for 2 years now, most of the time shipping kills the deal.

So now I am challenging you guys out there, Come up with a fair price without shipping, or come up with a new slightly higher price you would pay if I cover shipping to the continental U.S., sound fair?

Also, we would like to change some things up on our design but we only have jigs to work off of, So heres the deal--- We need someone near us willing to leave their rig with us for a bit, (say 6 weeks) This person may get front to back treatment for a huge discount, or just a FREE!!! front bumper, Do I have your interest? Come on guys- lets make a deal!!! http://www.dcfabrication.com/contact.html

I've left my contact link because I never check this forum. If you respond here or e-mail my brother you are wasting you time.

Im new to the forums but happen to be on the market for bumpers and came across this thread and love your work. Unfortunatly Im in NY and shipping these bumpers is expensive and usually a deal breaker. How about running a Northeast or east coast group buy? Then ship a bunch of them together through Uship.com?

Thread bump. Piling on with compliments, especially on that nice rear bumper. Subscribed to follow in case pricing is added. I don't (yet) know how to weld, so I'd be looking for a complete bumper, shipped freight to Denver area.

Agreed on the Uship part, I'm north of DC and was leaning on IPOR because they're close and I can get it unfinished with spindles (doing swingouts later) So I had planned on dropping $800 on one in the next 30 days. If this is going to happen I'd hold off other wise I've got to get something done soon as I have too much weight up front with the bull and winch.

I just emailed him through his contact link. I'm in NorCal and can take my rig to him tonight or tomorrow, whenever!! Hope it works out and we all start being able to get these sweet bumpers and sliders!!

He emailed me back saying he would decide by today who's rig he would use...

Chap97 you and brother have very good designs. I really like the front bumper with the high radiator protection, and high clearance wings.

Chap79, kudos to both you and your brother for making this happen. I've been looking for sliders, a front bumper and rear bumper for a long time and have yet to see all 3 done this well AND be available.

I'm going to contact your brother for details on all three, but just wanted to add to what the other have said here and thank you for such a great contribution to the 80 series world!

Sorry for no follow up here. It ended up elsewhere I guess, like my build thread...
Dallas is the owner/fabricator, and does great work. I ended up with full armor: front bumper, rear with dual swing outs and sliders. I modded the front to accept an 8274 (originally had a HF12k inside)

I just talked to DC fab today, they are willing to discount 20% off their rear bumpers if we are able to get 5 participants. Comes out to $1700 with dual swing outs excluding the Rubicon Jerry can basket/ladder, their normal price is $2130. There will be further discount for a raw bumper, no powder coating, I'm "guessing" it cost about $150 to get it powder coated, buying it raw will save them a trip since they out source it.
If you are in SoCal, I might consider renting a trailer to haul them down, you can pick it up in OC or Santa Clarita. At first I spoke with him regarding a 50% deposit, but he called back a few hours later and request for full payment before commencing work. If you are out of state, you will have to pay for shipping but the upside is no tax.

I am in....further details please!

Sweet, we only need 2 more to make this happen! Anyone want to give them self a nice christmas present?
Come on fellas, $1700 is a pretty good deal for a finished rear bumper. Most others cost $2100++

I'd rock these for sure... a DIY kit would be sweet.
