A great job man!
Really nice design, stylish and a bit mean.
Your 80 might be proud of you.
Emi.

I like all three products. Everyone is raving about the back bumper and it is truly nice, but I also like those sliders and that front bumper! We have been talking about wanting something that could protect the truck if Bambi got the bright idea of stepping out in front of the truck and that bar work looks nice to me! Very nice job!

Un flipping real, what a bang up job!
I WANT ONE OF MY OWN!!

Depending on price, I'm in for a combo: front, rear and sliders. Keep me posted.

Subscribed! Another fan of your front and rear bumpers and the sliders.

So how much for shipping to VA lol, again these are really nice if your interested ill take a Front and Rear Bumper.

The front looks great if you make a DIY kit or want to sell plans I'm in!!

Very very nice rear bumper - possibly the best one I have seen so far.

Have to agree with all the others here... great bumpers/sliders

I love the bar work on that front bumper! thats similar to what i was thinking of doing when i make my bumper, except i'll be going with just tube to save weight. Awesome job man! way to be different.

Thanks for all support.

I'm trying to convince my brother to sell a DIY front/rear bumper kit like 4x4Labs does. Only problem is that he doesn't have an 80 and I live 10 hours away from him. He just opened his own shop a few months ago after leaving Precision Welding & Offroad. He was their main designer and fabricator but the owner was cheap... enough said.

In any case, here's his card if any of you are seriously interested in some work and are in the northern Cali area. Cheers.

Good move for your Brother! He is really talented. If I where on the west coast I would definately see him about a rear bumper :)

I want a rear bumper like that for my 91!

Picture update

Since this thread got resurrected here is how things have progressed. The front bumper wings were given a lift and fog lights added.

The rear got it's swing-out, which will accommodate a true 37" tire and leaves enough room on the opposite side that a second swing-out could be added to hold 3 jerry cans/ladder/basket/whateveryourheartdesires...
The latch is a little different than most, it works like a bolt action rifle with an inner pin constructed of 1" cold-rolled steel.

So lets get serious now... How many DIY kits and/or fully welded of each bumper would make it worth your brothers time to build? Ask him how many and at what price, then see if we can get some interest in a group buy going. Its pretty clear there's interest so let's see some numbers. At least for the rear he has a frame of reference with the 4x4 Labs kit price. Don't think anyone does a front diy though.

I'm in for a front bumper. I'd prefer a group buy rather than DIY KIT on the front due to the fact I'm crunched for time but this is my favorite bumper. I was quoted a decent price a couple months back but always looking to save and maybe give uncle Sam or Governor Brown a little less $$$.

I've sent the thread link his way to see. He has made one complete bumper based off the template for another mud member (that I'm waiting on to post up some pics. You know who you are) To add to the anticipation it looks better than mine! But then again that's to be expected the second time around...

Here's a pic from the second bumper's mock up.
