I'm still interested in learning more about this Atlas swap.......

Is there a new thread somewhere?

Thanks.

It'd be nice to see an atlas I6 swap into an 80.

This would be awesome in a 60(specifically mine:D)! How difficult would it be to drop it in front of the H42 or an H55?

Grim news..... my wife and I passed through Boise (returning from Overland Expo) and hoped to stop by for a chat and to check out the LL8 swap, and to drive the shop truck.

No deal; on Friday we had an email confirmation from TwoTonic saying Monday morning would be fine, but he never gave us the shop street address and never returned my subsequent emails or calls. We waited at the hotel until mid morning and finally decided we had to bail out for home. ;(

The address is not listed on his website, nor could I find it ANYWHERE online, including at the Idaho business licensing website. I emailed again mid-week asking, more or less, "WTF??", and still no reply or call. If he isn't in the hospital or kidnapped, I have to say this is completely unacceptable customer service.

Does anyone know the street address of e-TLC? Home Page

Does anyone know why TwoTonic has dropped off these Mud forums?

Does anyone know a reputable, reliable west coast shop that can do an LL8 swap for me, preferably no more than 500 miles from Spokane? A shop that can answer my calls?

Thanks.

Sorry about that, John:
Same thing happened to me after I drove across the US from VA to Boise to turn my 80 series in to him for the conversion. I decided I needed more assurance of success and went to see Slee.

A search of the whois domain registration database followed by a google search may help you find him. The question is does he want to be found?

It shows his phone and a PO box in Boise. No street address is listed. So I guess he is using Stealth Business Technology and has enough customers for now....

I really do like what this swap has to offer.

TWO TONIC IS A FxxxTARD... end of story.

Two different people made arrangements with him and then travelled great distance to have this swap done or rewiew it to see if it is for them. He stood up both of them by not returning calls, emails or even going to his shop for the set appointment. Hell one of the guys waited 3 days to meet him That's about as crappy as it comes.

Look, I want this swap as I think it's perfect for me. Based on Two Tonics history of Mudder treatment, NOT A CHANCE IN HELL would he get my business. I'd rather walk.

If you ever come back on here twotonic, you lost my potential business for anything you do. The real kicker is I was just about ready then but am absolutely ready now with cash in hand, but you won't see one penny of my money. I do business with stand up guys.

2 sides to every story. I have not heard his side. Until I do, jury is out.

No you haven't and neither have the two mudders he shafted. It's his thread, maybe he ought to drop by and explain.

I absolutely agree two sides to every story. Can you think of a side that stands up a guy that drove halfway across country for a swap and then have twotonic no show him for 3 days, not return a call or ever get in contact to say sorry let me explain. How much gas, time, hotel expense was wasted?

Is it the same side that no showed another mudder to come by and take a look at this swap.

There could have absolutely been a viable reason the first time, but the second? There is a pattern here.

Now I'll admit I shouldn't have called the guy a fxxxtard. I am not one to get pissed often but this kind of crap get's my goat. The rest speaks for itself.

Onur,

I truly hope the swap for the unnamed mudder goes well and is more than they could have asked for. All I'm saying is if he'd have been a stand up guy with these two he would have had a third rig shipped to him. At 250k my girl is a little tired.

Dude....just drive out to ABQ for a week and we'll put a new short block in, have the head gone through, and you'll be back by the next weekend.

I'm not joking. New short block sitting in my warehouse. Good machine shop down the street. Ya got a place to stay and Cdan will come over every once in awhile and throw empty Coors cans at us!

:)

Bud light cans maybe but coors, never.

Just sent this to my wife as this has become a serious consideration real quick.

There just aren't many folks on the face of the planet that extend this kind of hospitality and generosity.

THANKYOU....

PS. There are times in my life that I am reminded of the exact size of my foot as it relates to my mouth. I overspoke in name calling and for the heated way it came across; for that I'm sorry. I had a bad day yesterday and let it get the best of me and I shouldn't. With that said, I stand by how I feel about the misstreatment of mudders.
