looking good! Which other tire brands did you consider?

Excellent choice! You will be very happy with those tires for a long time to come!

Thanks,no other brands considered! I prob.should have gone w/285 to go a little wider, but wanted a safe fit so the wife would be happy.

The guy at the tire shop told my wife that the tires looked a little big and we might have fitment probs. So she called me kinda stressed and was saying these better fit!! They do and she loves them.

Now if I just can talk her into a mild OME lift as we are planning on towing our tent trailer. But really the truck rides really nice and has 89k on it now.

Shoulda got the lift due to your "towing" needs as your excuse;)

What did you do to your grill?
I h8 the chome top strip.
Got some better pictures of just the grill?

I will be adding OME 865's for towing purposes soon :D:princess::princess: Just need to pick up the hitch from a fellow mudder.

Yea the towing needs, like that one! But it really will help,I am a big fan of the OME products. My old 80 had the 2.5 heavys, then went to the "J"springs w/L-shocks and lift and handing were great-Loved running 35's!!.Towed with that truck too.

The truck is stock,I guess the front grill has a little bling to it.Nothing an ARB front bumper would not fix!!

Also need to look into a brake control unit to install into the hundy. My Tent Trailer is a big one,it's a Starcraft 14RT and is about 3500lbs.Going to search on that.

I use a Tekonsha Prodigy and have had no problems whatsoever. Highly recommend it.

Wow, those look great! I've got tires on order (back ordered) at tire rack. I went with 275/65/18 which splits the difference size wise between stock (275/60/18) and yours (275/70/18). I also with with Revos instead of the BFG AT because I'm rarely off road (and when I am, it's pretty tame) and I wanted better ride and mpg of the lighter tires (BFGs only came in "E" rating). The Revos I'm getting weigh 10+lbs less per tire, but they look wimpier. The tires look so great on your truck (same color as mine, which is also stock) I might change my mind on size and/or brand. If you have thoughts based on your experiences, let me know.

The Revos are still on back order. Tire rack says the middle of next month. I'll post when I get them.

Yea 4P,I will post some more pics. soon as I took the running boards off last weekend. The truck looks really good now! The RB's came off real easy, such an improved look.
You will be happy with the BFG's,order them up and have them put on,it's a good size and fit.

Here are some crappy driveway shots.Don't know why my camera is not taking good pics. it's on the email mode now and it's not very clear.
I will get some better shots out in the forest away from everything.Anyway I had just took off the RB's and I was liking the new look.
I have not looked at the pics.on the screen yet just the tiny pics. from the camera-here it goes!!

Here are some more of the same driveway poser shots.I drove up on that log to take off pass.side running board to gain some more working space.
The RB's came off real easy, but there were a few nuts that were APITA!
Plus my dog,it's that golden retriver thing, all he wants to do is fetch his ball,(tennis ball, soccer ball.football,stick.ect!!!!)
so I have to throw it over my house or fence into the backyard and he brings it back EVERYTIME for more!!!

I went with the 285 x 75 x 16 Bridgestone Dueler Revo 2.

Definitely like the "no runningboads". I might be following in your footsteps ...

Hey Lexi4,great pics.I like the 16" tire choices alot better than the 18".But the 18" wheels are cool and easy to clean!!That is a good size you are running, just take the rb's off then post up some more pics.!! Mild lift too...???

That's the tire size I had on my 80 when I got it and liked them alot also. But then went with a 2.5" OME and some 305's.Then the 4" lift and 315's were the ticket.

If and when I get another 80 I am going to build it the same.Go with the 4" and 315's first!!!

PS what year is the Lexi...?? It must be an 02?? Nice looking truck.

jsuthey, let's see some more pics! Any profile shots sitting on level ground? Need to pull the trigger on some tires. I'm decided on BFG AT's, I'm just not sure if I want to go with 275/70-18 (11.0" x 33.2") or 285/65-18 (11.5" x 32.8"). I don't need the extra width of the 285's, but the extra height of the 275's would be nice. Plus, the 275's are $70 cheaper PER TIRE! Times five tires, that's a lot of coin.

So, maybe my decision is already made, but I'd still like to see more pictures of your 100!

What did it do to your speedo & mileage?
