another AWESOME new Red Line product!! congrats, looking forward to ordering one of these fine items from you!

How wide is the bumper end to end?

Mark

It is 40.375"
the outside to outside of the 40 frame is 28 7/16". So 5 15/16 of an inch will be protruding out from the frame!

So it is much shorter than a stock 40 bumper, right?

What types of winches would be able to mount to the bumper? Not an 8274 it doesn't look like?

This is a NON 8274 winch bumper!

not trying to be a jackass, but why build a bumper that doesn't accommodate one of the most popular winches that people put on FJ40s?

not trying to be a jackass, but why build a bumper that doesn't accommodate one of the most popular winches that people put on FJ40s?

Reason 1... is the cost of a new 8274 is 1500$ a used 8274 is 500-1000$, Compared to the fact that a standard pattern new winch can be as low as 400$

2nd reason is... how many people can't use a standard winch due to the fact that the only bumpers on the market for the 40 series are 8274?

3rd... Red line wants to bring this type of winch bumper out to the market due to the reason above!

and 4th... We will get an 8274 style bumper made in the future!

Justin

FYI I have an 8274 waiting to go on the front of my my 40....

While I applaud your plan to give non-8274 winch owners a nice bumper choice I think you will be well server to get the 8274 version ready!

Hi Justin
I have a Warn 8274 just waiting for your bumper. Would I be able to order the bumper 12" longer total length if you do come out with the 8274?

I can do that for you no problem!

Justin

Does this work with a Sag PS setup?

Yes they do! They were designed to allow any sag box mount with out interference!!!

What's the latest on the 8274 bumper? I would be interested in the longer version too.
