Hey y’all! New here! Just picked up a 1999 Land Cruiser. Super excited to be here!

Planning little resto-mods and just enjoying it in the Appalachian Mountains!

Generally not a huge fan of big graphics on these trucks, but yours slap! Never seen that one. Welcome!

Genuine question, forgive me if it's a dumb one as I'm new to these trucks: why opt for a JDM 100-series if it's still equipped like a USDM truck? 2UZ, no AHC, and I assume no other special bells or whistles that the LC didn't get in the US. It's clearly in phenomenal condition, but I imagine you pay a premium for it simply because it's JDM, compared to a similarly impeccable USDM 100-series.

Cheaper for the same condition than you are going to find in USDM.

I was also a teenager during the initial fast and furious saga so the idea of having an RHD vehicle has always been kind of a dream. Haha.

I also loved that the place I bought it from went through the whole truck. They replaced valve cover gasket, spark plugs, battery, shocks, steering rack, ton of bushings. Put new wheels and new 35” tires. It was really a steal IMO.

Hey man, fair enough! There's something to be said for paying a bit extra simply because you want it (RHD JDM vehicle) and can afford it! That's what it's all about haha. Truck looks clean as can be, and sits beautifully on that wheel setup. Congrats, and enjoy!
