NOTE: I'm not affiliated with AlphaRex, so I have no more info than what was posted to FB. Just thought some '14-'19 folks would be interested to know there are some new options coming out. The thread was deleted, presumably because they didn't get permission to post it; not sure. I assume it's ok that I post it here, but if not, feel free to delete with my apologies.

As the owner of an '11, I have no stake in this game other than to say if they were available, I could think of a dozen other things I'd spend that kind of coin on before replacing the lights. I already did a low beam LED upgrade, and a high-beam 9011 halogen upgrade, and for under a hundred bucks, REALLY improved the lighting. Plus, I drove 2 100's, an 80, and a 60 that had truly abysmal lighting that made the OEM early GX 460 lights seem like daylight... For the same money, I could do bulb upgrades, an LED lightbar, OEM trailer hitch, OEM roof rack, MTS, Crawl Control, and even KDSS disable, with $ for a few dates with my wife left over. But I get it, if you want it, you want it. And if you spend a lot of time driving at night, it's probably worth it.

Given the factory headlights on my '17 are pretty ridiculous, these are really more for those who are doin' it for the gram. I'm sure they do some neat stuff with color changing and all that but I think I'll keep my OEM adaptive lights.

I suppose these are cheaper than replacing both OEM units at $1200ish a piece if you smack the front end into something, but I also assume you lose the adaptive function.

One thing I read on this forum some time ago was that aftermarket headlights may be brighter and maybe much brighter but do not have the reflective housing to have a proper "cut-off" or beam focus for how high they throw out their light. That's why so often when you're getting blinded by that on-coming car, even if they don't have their high beams on, you're feeling blinded because most aftermarket headlights don't cut the top of the light. It kind of like a powerful flashlight radiating light in every direction.
