The owners manual for my 2009 GX470 says to use a neutral wool detergent mix to clean the leather.

Has anybody done this or have a better way of cleaning the seats?

Here’s the page in the manual about it.

My emblems in the book look a bit odd with some blue stuff. Can I replace these? Will it mess up the paint? How hard of a fix is it?

Dunno about the leather cleaner, I use...leather cleaner...

Hit the emblems with a hair dryer and peel them off, then clean the residue with GooGone or WD40, followed by soap.

Thanks you. Yeah.... I thought their recommendation was a bit odd.

What leather cleaner do you use?

So the emblems are just held on by some type of adhesive then?

Thanks!

I'm not a brand whore, but I like Maguires products.

Yes, the emblems are just taped on...larger ones like the big "F150" on my old truck had holes underneath with alignment pins on the emblem itself, but these thin lettered emblems are pretty much all just stuck on.

Got it done and turned out better than expected.
