Neutral with a dead battery?

Is there a manual override to get our trucks into neutral with a dead battery?

yes, remove the small rectangular cover from the top left of the shifter housing. using a long screwdriver press down in hole to release shift lock

You could also put the transfer case in neutral depending upon what you are trying to accomplish.
