I added the icon heavy duty springs to my coilovers last summer when I put a steel tube bumper and winch up front. I have the icon stock weight springs in the rear.
However, I’ve noticed that I have about half an inch of negative rake with even a minimal amount of gear in the trunk.
I have no third row seat. I have 1 large duffle bag with tools, 1 large duffle bag with recovery gear, and an air compressor in the rear.
My front preload is 3/4” (of the max 1.13”) on the driver side and 1/2” on the passenger.
With a half tank of gas, my hub to fender measurements are:
23.5” front driver and passenger (passenger is just a tick less)
23.25” rear.
Given how little weight is in the rear, and how much weight is in the front…this seems off.
Thoughts?
Should I get the heavy duty springs for the rear?
Should I lower the front preload even more?
