Hey guys I need some help, I just bought a set of IPF lights for the front that came with a cheap ass looking little push button switch (Picture attached) I also picked up an original factory fog light switch from cruiserparts (picture also attached)

Question #1 If I cut the push button off the IPF harness, will the new switch work with it? The IPF relay reads "12V-20A" if that matters.

Question #2 If the Yota switch will work, which wire goes to which post? (picture also attached) I assume that red goes to #3 due to the copper post, which would put white to #2 and black to #4 to light the switch or do I have that totally wrong?

If anybody has any experience with this, i would appreciate it.

Brian

It should work just fine. You need to figure out which connections on the new switch. How many wires go into the IPF push button switch? You got a meter you can check this with?

This link might help as well.

Hey Brian. Scrap the IPF harness and use one of the Aux relays in your new headlight harness for your new driving lights. All you need is to run the skinny wire to the switch and the fat wire to the lights. Put an ohm meter on the switch to figure out which pins to use on the switch and I'll draw you up a diagram.
