Hey guys I am heading out to the Roundup again this year. My wife has agreed to go with the stipulation that she would like to stop in Austin or San Antonio on the way out. I am looking for a safe place to drop a rig and trailer if possible for the night. Wensday the 17th and then pick it up thursday morning and head out to the Roundup.
Let me know if anyone can help out. Thanks in advance.

I have some room, but will need to know what route your taking to Katemcy. I live on the West side of Austin off Hwy 71. If your travelling I-10 to 87, you may think about someone in San Antonio. So depends on the route.

I will at least have a 18' deck trailer 22' overall length. There is a chance that I may have a 32' goosneck if some other people decide to go. I am trying not to pull the gooseneck if I do not have to. I do not know which direction I will be going to the Roundup, it really depends on what city I end up in, Ideally she would like to see the River-walk in San Antonio, but Austin will work as well. I figure she is willing to go to the Roundup the least I can do is spend a day/night along the way somewhere she wants to go. I do not mind backtracking some just not 2-3 hours to the Katemcy. I may be coming in along I10 or I40.
If someone has a spot to put the trailer I am sure I can make it work.

Thanks guys,
Rob

What about Edwin's shop? (He is our local Land Cruiser Shop and member of the LSLC)

Paging Edwin....:)

Figure out your itinerary and you can then determine where you want to leave it. I'm in NW Austin off of 183/620 area.

davegonz- I will let you know. My wife wants to go to San Antonio so I may be doing a loop back up to pick the trailer up. I am heading out to the King of The Hammers race thurs so I will try to figure something out when I get back.

thanks again,
Rob
