Hi all, I have an LS conversion and the rear heater has been unhooked by PO. I have scoured the forum for pictures or drawing of heater hose routing without the rear heater hooked up and on an LQ9 engine, but no luck. I took a picture before I tore it all apart- leaking heater core.... but it didn't show me exactly what I was looking for. Where does the tee on the inlet line go to? I read I had to bypass the heater valve, but not remembering what I did. Ugh. Any help??? Please....

You’re adding in the rear heater again?
If not, your two lines from the water pump go to the bottom hose on the firewall and the side of the heater valve. You should have the two lines teed together to form an H before the heater valve so that the coolant can cycle all the time.

Someday the
Heater will go in, right now I just want to drive
It. So basically I tee in to both lines and connect them with a short hose?

Yup. This is vital to keep it from running hot, the ls system is designed to have continued flow between those lines.

Thanks!! 👍
