Just lifted and added Bilstein, total chaos and ko2’s on method bronze rims. Bronze work for a bad a$$ wanderlust vehicle.

Yeah please post the specs on your wheels, tires, and suspension.

Bilstein 5100 front and rear
Total chaos control arms
Total chaos spindle and control arm gussets
BMS rear springs with Metaltek seats and bumps
KO2 285/70/17- minor plastic changes to fit
17” Method 701 wheels w/ 0 offset

Still unsure of the bronze vs black wheels... but the rest of the package makes this a very capable overlander.

Oh and the diff drop is an inexpensive and worthwhile option. I will post part numbers when I get a chance.

Your wheels are 17x8.5 with zero offset? Do you rub on full turn?

Some people don’t value the diff drop, but the oem stock skid plate protects it and is lower than the diff drop. So, it only helps marginally and doesn’t lower it anymore than above the skid plate. On mine, the rocksteady skid plates completely clear the diff drop and fully protects it.

Yes. No rubbing at all lock to lock. I did light modification to the fender liners and front bumper edge and mud guard built into running boards. Literally just pulled the plastic back by hand and added some tech screws to secure it.

Good to know. Maybe the 17x8.5 wheels with zero offset are a better option than the 17x9 with -12 offset. I rub on full lock only on the drivers side when turning left like on a uturn

I think Method offers a 12mm offset in that wheel. They are sweet wheels and I have heard the bead lock system truly works with low tire pressures. Have not tried it myself.

@slowhogg it came out to approx a 3” lift but way better ride than the old expensive airbag system. I had put some work into it to to get it to sit level and avoid spacers. Ended up a little higher than I wanted but it made the wheel tire package work well.

If you can post your hub to fender measurements, that would be great.

Factory hub to fender measurements per some research done here previously:
FD - 20.5"
FP - 20.5"
RD - 21.75"
RP - 21.75”

Thanks!

I've got the OME 2-1/2 inch medium duty lift coming with Metal Tech rear conversion. Front struts on back order!!! Hopefully be here end of this coming week, it's killing me it's taking so long to get here! Putting BFG KO2's 285/70/17 on my stock wheels with 1-1/4 inch spacers.

Hope mine will looks as good as yours!

Funny you should mention that. I bought the OME complete package. Delivery of the parts went from days to weeks and still have not arrived. Both packages are great however the OME springs are a little stiffer. I went with BMS rear springs(Fox is parent company) and love them.
