Hi there I have a 1993 Toyota Hilux surf lzn130 2lte. The door buzzer used to work now after some light offroading some water came in causing the buzzer to stop working. It now does a very very faint sound. I know people hate the buzzer as it is annoying but I need it to work for my father.I removed the whole dashboard but couldn't find the location of the beeper/buzzer can someone help ?

should be above the steering column.

you might just check the door switch plug isn't still full of mud/water.
from a 90 fsm but should be there

Thank you for your quick reply. I have checked all the places that you have specified my surf only has a beeper in the combination meter for reverse and heater buzz and another one under the radio for in the 4wd control unit for 4wd actuation.I also have bipassed the door switch but still it was the same.the only thing I haven't checked is by disassembling the fuse block as it sounds like it is inside thats as I have cleaned all door control relays etc.

Ok thanks.👍🏻
Found it ! 👍🏻 It was behind the fuse panel under the fuse panel.Had to unplug a lot of wires to get to it.It is a great box called integration relay .
ok. i will hopefully have my actual hilux ewds in the next few days. they should be more accurate.
