Morning All,

Needed some input. I am in the process of flushing transmission fluid and followed FatAsterik’s video on YT. Great video!!

First time through I was able to enter the fluid section mode by jumping the OBD as described and attached and cycling through 1-6 back to N then to D/N in under 1.5 secs for 6 secs to get D to light up. Put in park and pulled the jumper wire. My display also showed a diagnostic menu when I started the engine. I was able to get the 2 sec D pop up and then waited and D flashed when the trans fluid was at temp.

I hopped under with vehicle running and opened the overflow and I was low (nothing dropping out). Added ATF went to rerun test and now when I jump the OBD and start the cruiser the dash display shows VSC test mode but my main display shows the map and when running through the procedure I cannot trigger the 2 second D to enter the mode. I tried letting it warm up and checking with a laser temperature gauge on the pan and when above temp and nothing, no D.

Not sure what happened but cannot get back to the my initial procedure.

I checked with my surface laser at the appropriate temp and popped the overflow and drained to a trickle, but for my OCD sake would like to repeat the process in fluid dectection mode for Peace of mind.

Any ideas on why the vehicle wont enter in the same mode. I have checked my jumper wire 3 times and it does enter VSC mode, but display shows nothing. I am stumped.
