Need Help Now! Color Code For 1996 L/c!! (8 Viewers)

I have everything out, but I don't know the color code of the speaker wires! I thought the words would be on the wire but they are not! My wire harness is labeled but the truck wires are not! Please Help! 1996 L/C.

Here are the codes for a '97. Are likely to be the same for the '96.

AMP: R-B
RL-: Y
RL+: B
RR-: W
RR+: R
FL-: V
FL+: P
FR-: L
FR+: LG
GND: BR
B+: L-Y

P = Pink; V = Violet...

Can't tell you about the harnesses...you didn't say what you're hooking up--you just asked for the wiring info.

I just followed the directions that came with the wiring kit, wire for wire. I did have to use both plugs. Don't over think the process, ignore what's in the truck and focus on the harness to radio connections.

That's provided you have the correct wiring kit.

Thanks, everyone for the info, but I have a green wire, grey wire, purple, etc (the truck wires). No one has mentioned those colors in their replies. I am connecting a CD/DVD player in the truck. I have the correct harnesses because they fit together with the truck harnesses.
