I'm going to need some new tires soon. I currently have 295/75/16's on a OME heavy 2.5" lift. I can't decide if I want to keep 295's or go to 315's. I have a body lift I need to install but don't plan on regearing for awhile.

Should I just keep 295's (maybe go to 285's?) or just step up to 315's.

Any input would be appreciated.

If you want the ability to run recovery/snow chains and you don't want to go with wheel spacers x 4 then stay where you're at. Related: If you are not currently running wheel spacer adapters, at least in the front, be sure to check the specific tire model for adequate clearance, especially between tire and the steering knuckle, on your rig.

And then keep an eye on the tire to lower front fender clearance issue that becomes more pronounced with some 315's.

Its a slippery slope :D

If you don't plan on re-gearing for a while i would stay with the 295s. I am regearing soon so i may jump up to 315s soon as well.
