Need help identifying a mod from previous owner

I have an after market rocker switch that is located next to the power mirrors control. I asked the Lexus dealer when I purchased and they did not know what it was. While doing something else today I decided to investigate. I traced the wire to the gps dvd computer under the passenger seat. Looks to be spliced into two of the wiring connections and I also found a tied in connector that is not attached to anything.

I have activated the switch in various different situations and have noticed no difference in operation of the vehicle.

Any ideas?

I will upload some photos this week but I'm not sure what good they will do as it was very difficult to actually see anything.

Same principal with in dash dvd players. Instead of hooking to e-brake

Won't be able to check this one. I pulled the console DVD a while back. Thanks for finding this.

Nice thought sometimes but if that's it then it's broken.

Have to be going above 65mph for it to work. Think Dukes of Hazzard.
