Need help ASAP

So I took the 'new' 1994 FZJ80 into the mechanic here in Tucson to find out what the tick was.. The valve adjustment was done improperly so the number 5 cam is all tore up. I need a head (affordable...) that's been refurbished and ready to go on asap.. Anyone have a lead or another idea?

Sorry to hear it. Maybe PM Rockjock he is in Tucson and may have something from the 80 motors he pulled for LT1 swaps.

Just so everyone knows I bought the truck with full disclosure. I knew it had the tick and I bought it anyway but it was definitely a fair deal.

Always sucks, the fix will also mean a Hd. If done correctly. You can excuse yourself from hG paranora threads

I had a issue Isis with my Taco. After the repair, it's been near indestructible

The last time I talked with her she had brought it to a very reputable place in Tucson that focused on Toyota and Lexus repairs and I know the owners and friends with the person that runs the front office there so I am sure it is getting resolve correctly.
