So...ultimate procrastinator here...

I shredded a wheel in the snow this year (one of the bolts for my brake caliper unscrewed itself and popped a rim), and need to find a replacement before the trip this weekend.

Anyone have an extra and willing to sell it to me? I've been having a heck of a time trying to locate one (or something else that would fit) this week.

16x8 for 93 LC, or if anyone has/knows of a resource for anything that will fit...

Thanks!

Mike

Mike, if you are simply looking for a mounted spare, I have an extra for my '03 4runner. I can't verify the fit but If you want, I'll bring it to the farm or you can come see it at my place in OP. If it fits it's yours to use.

Thanks Dave! That might work for the weekend...just in case. I'll check fit and get back to you. What tire size are you running? I'm running 35's on the LC...

If not, I can bring an extra for you to borrow for the weekend. mine has 315 series tires on it from a 96LC

Mine is just a street spare, 265 I think.

2fpower, that would be great if you don't mind! I'll let you know otherwise if I find one locally. I'm coming up Saturday morning. Pretty excited to meet everybody!

I will load it on the trailer. I just put spacers and new shoes on my rig. I am a little concerned about the width and if it will tuck up into the fender, so may have to swap back to old tires or find a clearancing tool.:deadhorse:

I'll be interested to see how the spacers work out...been thinking about adding a set to mine too. Thanks again...Shouldn't need the spare, but can't go wheeling with only the 4 shoes on the ground, hoping nothing goes south...super stoked for Saturday. And nice build thread on cutting your 80 and throwing in the cage!!! So much work went into it!!

we have clearance tools too! :)
BFH, tree, comealong, pry bar, sawsall, grinder.. etc.

... this is gonna be fun...

I want to take the lunch and learn class on how to properly use the "Tree" clearancing tool. :)
