350 was installed already when I got it. It's a nv4500 tranny.

My personal opinion: The pair feels more bulletproof, powerful, and easier to drive in the city and longer distances than the oem engine and tranny, BUT the oem has a nice precious feel and sound. I like both for dif reasons. If it's a restomod, I'd actually rather have a stalk automatic on an Ididit column over the nv4500 with the 350 bc I have to deal with alot of traffic and to be honest it just feels like I am shifting a UPS truck. I haven't tried an H55 with the 2F yet but I always feel like I am searching for that 5th gear when I drive the 2F/H42. These are only my personal opinions obviously :)

I lost the aftermarket cap that came with it and also switched to a rear gas tank and I noticed I have alot of pressure. Again thanks for the help!

Does this cap fit 1977 with the locking fuel door?

I'll let bigredrocker chime in I'm still in the process of obtaining one of the gas caps.
